As an international traveller, we choose hotels that will support our out of home needs. A&o used to support my journeys prior to this stay. Now they expect us to buy rubbish wooden cutlery for almost £2 a set. This is not only a rip off and exploiting guests, but not a positive move to support. The rest of the stay is basic and I would recommend other locations such as Cabinn or Wake up hotels for better guest service around the same price. If the hotels decision makers prefer to lessen guest experience then they deserve to be empty.

When we arrived at the hotel on 9th July 2022, we were told that the hotel is overbooked! They can't find any room for us!! We've already booked the hotel since 27 March through agoda for check in on 9 July 2022. How come when we arrive, they said they don't have any room? It's ridiculous!! They said they were overbooked 20 rooms on that day. They offered us the other hotel which is their groups: A&O sydhavn. Since we were traveled with 2 kids, too tired and its almost midnight, we have no choice. When we came to the hotel, we found one angry customer that face same problem! Sure, they don't have a reliable system for reservation! We then realized that the room is much smaller than Norrebro. We tried to email our disappointment to their Customer Services via feedback@aohostels.com but no respond at all! Guys, please stay away from this hotel. Don't be tempted by cheap price or good picture since you don't have a guarantee that you will have the room For my fellow indonesian, "percaya deh, ini hotel amat sangat tidak rekommended" jauhi hotel ini, cari hotel lain.

We had made a reservation from saturday till sunday the 9.july - 10.july. When we arrived the hotel was overbooked and they tried to send us to their other Hotel in the other end of town. We turned that down, because the lokation was wery inconvinient for us. So there we stood without accomodation late in the evening. How can a hotel this size overbook? We were not satisfied

- It started on arrival. I waited 15 minutes for a member of staff to arrive to help me. Then I had to rent my own bed linen to be able to sleep in a made bed and now the following; - When I booked the mixed dorm I thought I was going to share the room with people of my age, travelling and exploring, like in every hostel, but it is not even close.. - My usb charging point and night light both do not work. - At night I feel the bars of the bed through the mattress in my back. - The washing machines look unhygienic, so I don't even dare to wash my clothes in them - I thought there would be a “kitchen”, but that is also very disappointing to be honest. - There's a smell of bacon and pizza everywhere and it's in my coat and all my clothes now too. - The room stinks unbelievably. There were bags full of empty beer cans in the room last night. But also a smell of sweat and dirty clothes/bedlinnen. - It's super hot and stuffy in the room and you can not even get some fresh air flow, becouse you can open the windows just only a tiny bit. - The bathroom smells like urine and it is very unsanitary. Even after the cleaners cleaned it. So now I go to urban camper hostel to take a shower there, becouse this is just.. unhealthy.

I got a single room for 3 nights in Copenhagen. It's in a quiet area easy to get the metro around the city. Most of the staff were nice enough without being that friendly, especially the older lady she should lighten up. The breakfast is ok although should have some more choices like bacon, sausage and eggs. There is laundry which was handy. It's definitely not a social hostel unlike acouple of others I visited to meet friends I met. But the wifi and room and good price make it a pretty good choice. 3 check in and 10 check out abit harsh I think.
